Le leader du groupe Daniel Rostén commente à propos du quinzième album :
« Memento Mori est à la fois un audacieux bond en avant, un pas de côté calculé et un regard nostalgique en arrière. Cela signifie que nous avons innové sans pour autant oublier notre héritage ou le voyage qui nous a mené jusqu’ici. »
